Commissioner Profiles
Mark Blackwell Sr.
Mark Blackwell Sr. has been a member of the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant’s Commission since first elected in 2009.
Prior
to being elected to the TMLP Commission, Mr. Blackwell worked at the
TMLP for 37 ½ years, holding positions of Electric Station Operator,
Electric Maintenance Repairman, and Operations Coordinator.
Mr.
Blackwell is also a member of the mentoring program for people with
spinal cord injuries.
He has four children and nine grandchildren and in his spare time enjoys building furniture projects and woodworking.

Peter J. Corr
Peter J. Corr is currently serving as a Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant Commissioner.
Peter has been a Police Officer for over 24 years. Mr. Corr is a member of the Dive Team, Motorcycle Unit and an E-Board member of the Patrolman’s Union.
Mr. Corr has a Master’s Degree from Western New England. He is the father of one son and an avid sports fan. In his spare time he enjoys spending time on his boat.

Timothy J. Hebert serves as a Taunton Municipal Lighting
Plant Commissioner.
Mr. Hebert is Director of East Origination for Avangrid
Renewables and spent nearly 23 years at Energy New England, LLC, a co-operative
serving the power supply, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and
sustainability needs of municipal utilities throughout the region. He served in
several management roles, including 4 years as Chief Operating Officer. Prior
to ENE, Mr. Hebert served as Power Supply Planning Engineer for TMLP for nearly
4 years and three years as a Fired Heater Engineer for Badger Engineers, Inc.,
a Raytheon subsidiary.
Mr. Hebert holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in
Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a
Master’s in Management from Bridgewater State University.
Mr. Hebert is married with three children and enjoys hiking,
traveling and spending time with his family.
