Mr. Corr, a lifelong resident of Taunton, has two daughters, Christine and Melissa, and a son, Peter J. Mr. Corr is a retired Taunton Police Officer.

Community affiliations include the Knights of Columbus, Boys & Girls Club, P.A.C.C., Chair of Fundraising—Cancer Society, Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis, March of Dimes, United Way Fundraising for New England Telephone Company. He has held past offices in the city including Member of the Retirement Board since 1986, Gubernatorial Appointment to the Housing Authority for 9 years, Elected City Council for 12 years, Elected School Committee for 8 years, Sewer Commission for 10 years.
