- Sales to electric retail consumers increased 3% to $58,004,000; sales to
wholesale consumers increased 2% to $62,705,000; debt decreased 17%;
- Contribution to the City of Taunton in lieu of taxes
was increased by $140,000 (5.93%);
- Continued automation and refinement of the financial
reports with the use of the SAP software; reporting is now real-time;
- More internal controls were implemented during 2002 to
ensure the proper level of checks and balances are in place;
- Consolidated positions within the Accounting Group.
